MUND is a Spanish company specialized in the manufacture of technical socks for mountaineering and sports that was born in the mountains of the Sierra de la Demanda more than 30 years ago. A few kilometers from Burgos is Pradoluengo, a small Castilian village where Mund has its factory and whose textile tradition dates back to the sixteenth century.

Our products combine the knowledge passed down for generations with the most advanced technologies and designs.

What started as a small family business more than thirty years ago has become today an international reference that exports its products to more than fifty countries, consolidating itself as a reference brand in outdoor sports. We are present in Europe, America, Asia and even Oceania. Our turnover abroad already represents almost 50% of our total sales. A success that has been possible thanks to three decades of effort and constant work.

Our work and evolution allows us to offer a wide range of products that combine intelligent, natural, ecological or recycled fibers with advanced technology applied to the manufacture of socks.

Our work consists in the combination of the continuous research of new intelligent fibers together with the development of innovative designs to offer the best performance to mountaineers, sportsmen and athletes.

We are currently making an important commitment to sustainability and the environment by developing a new line of socks made with ecological and biodegradable fibers, such as Seacell® fiber, a natural fiber made from wood and algae with high levels of antioxidants that help protect the skin. Or Repreve® fiber, sustainably manufactured from recycled plastic bottles, with thermoregulatory properties that maintain a perfect skin temperature.

At MUND we are convinced that the mountain and sport must be accessible, so we strive to develop high-end products at competitive prices.

We manufacture mountain socks under the inspiration of the mountain, its silence, its humility and its authenticity. We want to provide comfort and well-being to all those who live the sport and the mountain as we do.
